AgTech Industry Group Co-Leader Karen Carr presented to the US Wheat Associates’ (USW) and National Association of Wheat Growers’ (NAWG) joint committee on November 2.
Karen’s presentation to the Wheat Breeding Innovation Committee addressed a recent USDA final rule and a new proposed EPA regulation, both of which impact US regulation of gene editing in plants, and how those regulations will impact commercialization of new wheat products in the United States.
