Maggie Hickey Listed Among Crain’s Notable Women in Law for Fourth Year

ArentFox Schiff is pleased to announce that Partner Maggie Hickey has been listed among Crain’s Chicago Business’ Notable Women in Law for 2024, her fourth time being included on the list.

Maggie co-leads the firm’s Complex Litigation and Government Enforcement & White Collar groups, overseeing nearly 300 attorneys. She advises on internal investigations, compliance programs, and sexual harassment issues, and leads some of Chicago’s largest public investigations, including into allegations of hazing in Northwestern University’s football program. Maggie serves as the Independent Monitor of the Chicago Police Department Consent Decree.

Maggie has been previously recognized by Crain’s Chicago Business’ Notable Women in Law in 2018, 2020, and 2023. She was ranked by the Chambers USA guide (2020-2023) as a leader in her field. She was also named a Law360 MVP – White Collar (2019), listed among Law Bulletin Media’s Influential Women in Law (2020), and award the Women’s Bar Association of Illinois’ Vanguard Award (2021) for her work making the law and legal profession more accessible and reflective of the community at large.

Maggie has been an active role model and mentor throughout her career. She was a member and past chair of the board of directors at the former Constitutional Rights Foundation Chicago. She was also a Circle Member of the Oak Park River Forest Infant Welfare Society, which provides medical and social services to children. Maggie served on the board of directors for the Mikva Challenge Foundation, which advances civic education, engagement, and empowerment among Chicago students.
