Faige’s client representation includes serving as outside counsel to both institutional landlords and tenants in the leasing, management, construction and daily operation of office and retail properties, both in New York City and throughout the country. Over the past several years, Faige has counseled clients on leases ranging from New York City office headquarter leases for tenancy by large national and multi-national companies, to small retail leases to restaurants and other start-up companies. In addition, Faige counsels lenders and borrowers on all aspects of mortgage financing transactions, with particular emphasis on pooled multifamily housing portfolios. Representative transactions include affordable housing, seniors housing and student housing portfolios ranging in size from $20M to $2.5B. Faige also has experience drafting and negotiating corporate governance documents as well as counseling, training, and mentoring clients and business professionals on contractual and risk management issues.
