    Bill Tanenbaum and Randall Stempler Write Chapter on Legal Risks in Health Care IT Contracts

    New York Partner Bill Tanenbaum and New York Counsel Randall Stempler wrote a chapter on “Addressing Legal Risks in Health Care IT Contracts”  that was published on March 17th in CCH’s Health Care Profession’s Manual, a leading health care treatise. This is the first time that an IT chapter was included in this book. The chapter covers such topics as making agreements early warning system for problems in IT operations;  the strategic use of RFPS; the advantages of negotiating Statements of Work before Master Agreements;  increasing protection under standard cloud agreements; securing data extraction rights; and preventing the hollowing out of indemnities.
