Arent Fox Partner Peter Zeidenberg Discusses Recently Dismissed Industrial Espionage Case on BBC News Hour
Arent Fox Partner Peter Zeidenberg and client Sherry Chen appeared on BBC World Service News Hour for an interview focusing on the recently dismissed industrial espionage case against Ms. Chen.
In the interview, Ms. Chen described the intensive months of the prosecution’s attempt to build a case against her, and Peter recounted the dramatic reversal that occurred over 24 hours.
“We were prepared to go to trial. Less than a week before the trial date, the US attorney in the Southern District of Ohio agreed to meet with me with some of his deputies, and I went through the evidence with him, some of what seemed like obvious problems with the logic undergirding the whole case,” Peter said. “Subsequently, the following day in fact the case did get dismissed.”
