Cristina Carvalho Speaks at ABA’s Intellectual Property Law Conference

Cristina joined United States District Judge Gerald Bruce Lee and Johanna Wald of Harvard Law School’s Houston Institute to discuss implicit bias in the courtroom, boardroom, and broader legal profession.
The panel was moderated by DOJ Trial Attorney Nicholas Kim. In particular, the panel discussed how best to address bias, including the role of mentors and hiring practices, and challenges that remain.
